UHF 10-channel, 4-watt radio features 121 “Interference Eliminator” codes to prevent hearing other users on the same channel (83 digital and 38 analog private line codes). Ideal for large industrial areas or for use in steel/concrete buildings up to 30 floors high or 350,000 sq. ft.; outdoor range of up to six miles in flat, unobstructed areas. Features include four programmable front panel function buttons, priority scan, high/low power settings and handsfree (VOX) operation with optional audio accessories. Built-in audio jack permits use of optional headset/microphone (MTR53815), sold separately, in noisy areas or where privacy is required. Use factory-programmed default channels or use dealer-programmable frequencies from 435 to 480MHz. Compatible for use with repeaters and base stations (dealer programming required).
